Moscow. July 11th. INTERFAX.RU – Creating transparent rules, overcoming corruption factors will attract investments to Dagestan, believes the speaker of the Federation Council Valentina Matvienko.

„Investors will go only when transparent, honest rules are created,” she said at a meeting with the government of Dagestan.

“I don’t even want to say, the people of Dagestan and corruption, but, unfortunately, this rust has very seriously penetrated into all areas,” the speaker stated.

She also expressed the opinion that the port of Makhachkala, „if it is given proper development, deepened, equipped,” can become a point of development for the whole of Dagestan.
